Child Safety Statement
St Augustine's Primary School is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people. This commitment is the primary focus of our care and decision-making.
We have zero tolerance for child abuse and are dedicated to maintaining a child-safe environment where all children and young people feel safe, are safe, and are empowered to have a voice in decisions that affect their lives.
We pay particular attention to the cultural safety of Aboriginal children, children from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and the safety of children with disabilities.
Every person involved in St Augustine’s Primary School has a responsibility to understand the important and specific role they play, individually and collectively, in ensuring that the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people is at the forefront of their actions and decisions.
