Parents' Committee

The Parents' Committee provides valuable support to our School community and is open to all parents whose children are enrolled at St. Augustine's School.

Support occurs by:

    • creating a spirit of ownership and involvement.

    • creating a strong sense of belonging for both the children and the parents.

    • contributing to the social fabric through welcoming events and social opportunities.

    • managing and staging fundraising activities/events.

The Committee has established a welcoming and open atmosphere for all parents through is voluntary nature.

Most meetings are scheduled in the evenings - 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6:00 pm in the Staff room.

One strength of this group has been its ability to form sub-committees that work on special projects and events. These sub-committees have often been the conduit by which the wider parent community can be involved and where so much valuable community building takes place.

The specific roles that operate within the committee are:

  • Chairperson

  • Treasurer

  • Secretary

Each year we invite parents to complete Nomination Forms to appoint parents to each of the positions on the Committee.
